At Service for a Purpose, our programs are designed to empower youth and young adults by giving them the tools, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed in life and work. We believe in turning struggle into strategy by creating pathways from instability to independence.

Our Core Programs Include:

• Job Readiness & Workforce Development – Training participants in resume writing, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, and professional skills to secure and maintain meaningful employment.

• Life Skills & Financial Literacy – Teaching practical skills such as budgeting, credit building, decision-making, and time management to help participants achieve long-term stability.

• Youth Employment & Social Enterprise – Providing real-world work experience through our lawn care and auto detailing service, offering paid opportunities that build responsibility, teamwork, and confidence.

• Leadership & Personal Growth – Workshops and mentoring focused on communication, emotional regulation, public speaking, and decision-making to prepare youth for leadership roles in their communities.

• Community Engagement – Encouraging participants to give back through service projects, fundraisers, and neighborhood initiatives that strengthen community ties and promote civic responsibility.

• Alternative Schooling - Alternative schools empower students who need different approaches to thrive, while creating safer, stronger, and more vibrant communities.

• Safe House Placement - We partner with individuals and organizations, such as Rise Up Housing & Development, to provide safe and stable housing for displaced youth. By ensuring they have a secure place to call home, we give them peace of mind and the foundation they need to focus on education, personal growth, and their future. With the right support system in place, these young people can heal, thrive, and grow into confident, successful adults who contribute positively to their communities.
